Brewer Science Introduces Universal Spin Chuck System

September 1st, 2015 – Rolla, MO – Brewer Science is pleased to announce the introduction of a Universal Spin Chuck Set for use in the semiconductor industry. Providing a common platform for rapidly changing chuck sizes (ranging from 1/8” to 4” in diameter), the Universal Spin Chuck Set is the newest addition to the company’s expanding portfolio of equipment accessories.

The specialized, patent-pending product design utilizes a universal spin chuck base that fits a range of interchangeable chuck sizes. This provides a platform for quick transitions between different substrate sizes with no change in substrate height. This Universal Spin Chuck System is designed to be compatible with multiple generations of Brewer Science® Cee® spin coaters, and the simple installation requires no hardware.

Whether using the small-diameter set, large-diameter set, or the complete set, the spin coater operator will be able to easily change chuck sizes without stopping to find a screwdriver, realizing significant value in simple cleanroom efficiencies. In addition, each spin chuck set includes a case, which provides operators with easy storage and access to the set.
