Shaping The Future With Our People

Darren Harvey

Process Engineer

Q. Why Brewer Science?

A. Brewer's compact size gave me the rare opportunity to follow the production of a chemical product from theoretical inception in R&D to a bottled product being shipped to a customer, all in one location. Being in such close contact with all facets of an organization like this is a great learning opportunity for an engineering student or recent grad.

Q. How would you describe the corporate culture?

A. The corporate culture at Brewer Science fosters a positive work atmosphere. The management of Brewer Science are receptive to new ideas and approachable. Engineers and scientists are eager to sit down and work with you so that you understand the process and will answer any questions.

Tamala Morris

Project Manager

Q. Why Brewer Science?

A. My background in Chemical Engineering attracted me to Brewer Science. Brewer Science being a chemical manufacturer in one of the fastest growing, and ever changing industries in the world, brought me the satisfaction of knowing that the company would offer a unique growth environment where I could successfully develop my skills and talents.

Q. What do you enjoy the most about your position at Brewer Science?

A. In my current position as Project Manager, I am always learning because no two projects are ever the same. I love the fact that I can contribute to the company in a variety of different roles, being exposed to different environments, and achieving various goals in a timely manner.

Nick Skelton

Web Developer

Q. What attracted you to your current position?

A. The biggest attraction to my current position is the freedom I am given. I am allowed to work on a wide variety of projects and experiment with many different techniques that in some larger companies you would never be allowed to do.

The group that I currently work in is very small, which is great because you aren’t always worrying about everyone else’s theories clashing hundreds of times on simple projects and are allowed easy access to each other for simple thoughts and suggestions on everyday things allowing you to get your work done efficiently at a more consistent rate.

Q. If you could give your 18 year old self one piece of advice, what would that be?

A. Great opportunities come along in the subtlest of ways. Take it and run with them.

Adrienne Comage

Laboratory Assistant

Q. What did your intern experience at Brewer Science offer and/or why was it important?

A. My intern experience at Brewer Science offered me the opportunity to gain experience in my field of study. Along with providing me with valuable workplace experience, my internship was important to me because I have been able to learn about the industry and what it is like to work with others in my field.

Q. What do you enjoy the most about your position at Brewer Science?

A. The thing I enjoy the most about my position at Brewer Science is the flexibility of my schedule. I am going back to school and being able to schedule my work hours around my classes has been a great help. Also, if emergencies come about, I have been able to take time off to deal with situations, as well as make up the hours, which is very helpful.
