Devices

Brewer Science offers technology solutions in multiple areas of printed electronics.

Display technologies

Brewer Science has an immense focus on materials that can be used in display technologies, including everything from flat-panel displays (FPD) such as LCDs, to printed, flexible displays such a OLED and touch panels.

We offer transparent conductive materials based on carbon nanotubes for wide-area screen print coatings, as well as materials for additive processes such as inkjet and Aerosol-Jet® printing. We also offer semiconducting materials based on carbon nanotubes for use in transistors.

Logic & memory

Printed electronics is showing promise for the production of transistors and memory circuits that can be used as alternatives to conventional silicon devices by allowing for a lower cost, more flexible device with faster turnaround times.

Brewer Science has a long history of providing leading edge materials for silicon device production and we continue to provide material breakthroughs in carbon nanotube-based materials for memory, transistors, capacitors, etc. Please contact Brewer Science to find out more about how our materials can meet your needs.

Printed CTN Interconnect for traditional PCB and back-end wafer packaging

A Printed carbon nanotube (CNT) interconnect for traditional PCB and back-end wafer packaging is shown above.

Brewer Science® CNTRENE™ C100 is the first, and only, commercial semiconductor-grade spin-coatable CNT solution. It is used in applications for NRAM memory where CNTs are the active memory switch.

Sensors

New materials using printed processes are enabling new sensor platforms on flexible substrates. Sensor platforms that are showing promise include stress/strain, temperature, and humidity in a variety of end-use applications.

Brewer Science is developing both conducting and semiconducting materials based on carbon nanotubes that can be used to meet sensor needs.

Wireless communication

Whether you are wanting to transmit temperature data from a sensor or product information via wireless antenna structures, Brewer Science has both the materials and device prototyping capability to make and test wireless devices. We are developing conductive materials for a variety of deposition types that can be used for antennas, inductor coils, and electrodes. We are also developing semiconducting materials that can be used in elements of your overall device.
