Materials Foundry Mission

Brewer Science has 30 years of experience in designing, developing, and manufacturing innovative polymer thin-film materials for integrated microsystems. We are finding that the need for new materials is growing like never before as microsystem producers wrestle with the challenges of nanoscale patterning, 3-D integration, creation of high-aspect-ratio structures, fabrication on flexible substrates, and so on. The Brewer Science^® Materials Foundry™ is our response to this need.

• We want to engage microsystem producers early in the development cycle and offer them the widest possible range of polymeric coating materials for screening in their new device applications.
• We are using the web to provide our customers with easy access to new polymer thin-film materials, many of which are innovative Brewer Science designs, and to interact with customers about how these materials can be evolved to fully meet microsystem requirements.
• We plan to expand our materials catalog continuously in response to customer feedback as well as industry processing trends. We hope to provide many new polymeric thin-film materials that have not been available previously to microelectronics manufacturers.

As a technology-driven company, Brewer Science desires to support the needs of the microsystem manufacturing community, even for emerging and specialized applications. We believe the Materials Foundry will provide our customers with the quickest and most affordable way to find effective solutions to their new material challenges.
