Brewer Science to Address Microelectronics and Thin Wafer Handling Challenges at SEMICON West

July 10, 2011 - Brewer Science, creator and manufacturer of materials, process solutions, and equipment for the microelectronics industry, will be speaking and exhibiting at SEMICON West, July 13-14, in San Francisco.

Dr. Terry Brewer, Founder and President of Brewer Science, will join a panel of industry experts and business leaders during the SEMICON West Executive Summit on Wednesday, July 13, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, on the Keynote Stage in Esplanade Hall. Panelists include industry experts who will offer their views and visions on the future of microelectronics and explore the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the global industry.

Brewer Science will introduce the latest technology advancements in thin wafer handling for high-brightness LED (HB-LED) and 3-D packaging manufacturing at the following sessions:

“Thin Wafer Handling Technology for Layer Transfer Processes in High-Brightness LED Manufacturing,” presented by Ram Trichur, Director, Strategic Business (LED/Energy Devices), on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 12:30 pm, in the South Hall of the Moscone Center at the eXtreme Electronics HB-LED Session.

"Overcoming the Wafer Handling Hurdle: An Advanced Temporary Bonding Process Critical for Achieving 3D Integration," presented by Rama Puligadda, Technical Director, Advanced Packaging, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, during the SUSS Workshop at the W Hotel, Great Room.

Brewer Science is co-exhibiting at booth 2734 with MEMS Industry Group.

SEMICON West is billed as the premier event for the display of new products and technologies for microelectronics design and manufacturing and features technologies from across the microelectronics supply chain, from electronic design automation, to device fabrication (wafer processing), to final manufacturing (assembly, packaging, and test). SEMICON West is also a showcase for emerging markets and technologies born from the microelectronics industry, including microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), photovoltaics (PV), flexible electronics and displays, nanoelectronics, solid-state lighting (LEDs), and related technologies. The event takes place July 12-14 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
