Brewer Science Presents Peaceful Bend Wine Cellar Concert Featuring The Internationally Acclaimed Jacques Thibaud String Trio
“These musicians are exceptional,” says Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and CEO of Brewer Science. He continues, “They have performed in Europe and Japan and received wonderful reviews. We have welcomed the Jacques Thibaud String Trio to our region for many years. However, this year we are welcoming the trio’s newest member, Hannah Strijbos, to our country and community. I am certain that the concert will be extraordinary.“
The Jacques Thibaud String Trio is comprised of Hannah Strijbos, viola; Burkhard Maiss, violin; and Bogdan Jianu, cello. The trio was founded at the Berlin School of Art in 1994. Violist Hannah Strijbos joined the group in 2012, returning the group to a stringed trio once again.
The program for the 2012 concert will include Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Divertimento (1788), Ernst von Dohnanyi: Serenade (1902), and Krzysztof Penderecki: String Trio (1992).
The musicians selected these important masterpieces because they were composed specifically for string trios. The performance at the Peaceful Bend wine cellar will give attendees the opportunity to experience the music in a unique environment with superb acoustics.
Hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6:30 pm, and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, at the Peaceful Bend Vineyard, located at 1942 Highway T in Steelville, MO. Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at Peaceful Bend Vineyard, Kent Jewelry, or Arts Rolla. Seating is limited. For more information about this concert, call Arts Rolla at 573-364-5539 or Peaceful Bend Vineyard at 573-775-3000.
