May 29, 2012

On June 1, 2012, Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and President of Brewer Science, will be speaking at the 5-year anniversary celebration for the Jordan Valley Innovation Center (JVIC) located in Springfield, MO.  Dr. Brewer is a leading technology innovator whose company, Brewer Science, is developing and manufacturing “made in Missouri” specialty chemicals and equipment that are improving the way we live, work, and play. He is a founding member of JVIC and serves on the board of Springfield Innovation, Inc.

“We have enabled the advancement of the microelectronics and electronics industry for over 30 years through research at our Rolla, MO, facility,” Dr. Brewer said.  “For the past 5 years, Brewer Science has conducted carbon nanotube research at JVIC that impacts the future functionality of your mobile devices, tablets, televisions, and flexible electronics. Our research efforts have expanded to require laboratory and testing space, which currently occupies two floors.  The research done by Brewer Science is leading the adoption of carbon nanotube technology worldwide.  We are making printed electronics technology a reality by supplying materials, processes, and device capability through the research we are doing at JVIC."
