June 25, 2012 – Brewer Science is sponsoring a magical evening of spectacular music and fireworks at the annual Darley Park Concert on June 30, which this year coincides with a special visit of the Olympic Torch to Derby, UK. Employees from the Missouri-based company's offices in Derby, UK, will join an expected 30,000 people for the concert made possible through the underwriting support of Brewer Science and Rolls-Royce. The concert is a community celebration held in a natural amphitheatre. The concert will feature a fun, eclectic set of celebratory musical selections performed by sinfonia ViVA. A fireworks finale will top off the event.
“This year's Darley Park Concert is a special celebration in many ways, and everyone at Brewer Science is thrilled to be a part of it,” said Dr. Terry Brewer, President and Founder of Brewer Science. “At Brewer Science, we are dedicated to celebrating humankind's achievement in innovation and technology, just as the Olympic Games celebrate human achievement in athletics. We are excited to help welcome the Olympic Torch to Derby and to bring communities together by sponsoring a weekend of music, entertainment, fun, and fireworks at the Darley Park Concert."
