Brewer Science Brings Art and Science Together at the Pure Enjoyment Exhibit in Springfield, MO
August 17, 2012 – Brewer Science, Inc., of Rolla, MO, together with the Springfield Regional Arts Council and Arts Rolla, will host an eclectic exhibit, Pure Enjoyment, featuring original art at the Creamery Arts Center in Springfield, MO, during the month of October.
“Our customers sometimes ask why Brewer Science, a global technology company, would have a passion to promote original artwork,” said Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and CEO of Brewer Science, Inc. “We believe the creativity in art and the creativity in scientific and technological innovations are closely related. Cultural events such as those provided through the arts, enrich communities and create opportunities for economic and personal growth.”
The Pure Enjoyment exhibit is in its fifth year and will feature approximately 70 pieces of juried artwork including original art, original photography, and dimensional art. The exhibit will be available for viewing October 5 through October 25. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The jurior is Denene Taliaferro from Springfield, MO.
The public is invited to the opening reception, which will be a part of the First Friday Art Walk, on October 5 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Creamery Arts Center, located at 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield, MO.
The exhibit is open to all visual artists. In the past, artists from Missouri and around the Midwest have been featured. Those interested in submitting artwork must do so by September 7 and are invited to visit http://www.brewerscience.com/art-show for information and submission instructions.
