Millennial Generation Receives Work Experience With High-Tech Manufacturer Brewer Science

Feb 7, 2013

February 7, 2013 – Rolla, Mo. – Amid the headlines of high unemployment and an economy where many young graduates are struggling to find employment, Brewer Science is providing members of the millennial generation with a key advantage as they prepare for careers in high-technology fields. By aggressively recruiting talent from some of the best-known technology and engineering schools in the nation, the Brewer Science Global Intern Program helps students obtain real-world experience at one of the world's leading technology firms.

Brewer Science is expanding its intern program to provide opportunities for students at the company as its Human Resources team hits the road to visit college campuses seeking students with a passion for learning and innovation. Those selected for the intern program will have the opportunity to compete for a Brewer Science–sponsored scholarship.

According to the December jobs report released earlier this month, the unemployment rate for Millennials (ages 18-29) is over 11 percent. For students considering jobs in technology, an internship with Brewer Science can provide them with a competitive advantage over their peers.

"Brewer Science is not only cultivating next-generation technology, we are helping cultivate the next generation of technology leaders," said Dr. Terry Brewer. "Our internship program provides young people with a unique experience that combines mentoring and working side-by-side with some of the best researchers in the field of technology. We go beyond classroom learning and turn concepts into technology products. An internship at Brewer Science could lead to full-time employment as students learn their craft firsthand and get the hands-on experience they need to be the innovators of tomorrow."

Brewer Science provides a learning and hands-on environment that goes beyond the classroom experience, helping students build relationships and find mentors. The company's interns develop valuable skills and gain the opportunity to engage with networks and teams across geographic, functional, cultural, and organizational boundaries.

For those looking for an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, growing, high-technology company, with unlimited opportunities for professional and personal advancement, Brewer Science is the right destination. Each Brewer Science intern will have a chance to be an important part of a global company and to make a difference.

Brewer Science is currently seeking interns with the desire to innovate and help the company deliver value to its customers. For more information, visit Brewer Science Careers, and meet the Brewer Science recruiting team when they visit your campus.
