Denene Taliaferro, a prominent Springfield artist, will serve as the exhibit’s juror.

Selected artwork will be displayed from Friday, October 3, through Friday, October 31, 2014. Viewing hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Dr. Terry Brewer, founder and CEO of Brewer Science and the 2014 recipient of the Missouri Arts Council award for Philanthropy, continues to be an advocate and supporter of the arts. Commenting on his company’s ongoing sponsorship of Pure Enjoyment, Dr. Brewer said, “Our customers sometimes ask why Brewer Science, a global technology company, is so focused on promoting the arts. We believe the creativity that inspires art and the creativity that generates scientific and technological innovations are closely related. Supporting opportunities in our community that stimulate originality, creativity, and diversity is part of Brewer Science’s mission. Cultural events like this one enrich communities and create opportunities for both economic and personal growth.”
