Environmental Statement

Brewer Science is committed to the reduction of environmental aspects which might have a negative effect on the environment. BSI has identified chemicals, organic solvents, electricity, paper, water and solid waste as having significant impacts to the environment. For fiscal year 2002-2003, we are committed to reduce per employee paper consumption by 10% over the 2001 average, study opportunities for reduction of the impact of packaging materials and establish an effective recycling program throughout the company. We are committed to controlling the effects of chemicals, organic solvents and solid waste. A reduction target has not been established. Organic solvents and solid waste will be recycled whenever possible. Inventory of chemicals will be maintained at a minimum operational level.
