Electronics, Appliance & Tire Collection - 2024 Recycling Event at Brewer Science

June 8th - 8am till noon

(located in Hypoint Industrial Park at 1-44 Exit 189 /Highway V)

Brewer Science enjoys partnering with community organizations to provide an annual recycling event for the community to conveniently recycle their residential electronics and tires, diverting a significant amount of waste from our landfills. The 2024 recycling event will take place June 8th, below is the detailed information regarding which items can be recycled free of charge, and which ones require a fee:

FREE:
  • stoves
  • washers
  • dryers
  • water heaters
  • computer components
  • keyboards
  • VCRs/DVD players
  • cell phones
  • hairdryers
  • garden equipment (oil and gas tanks must be removed prior to recycling) 
  • anything operating on a battery or a cord
Not Accepted:
  • VHS & Data tapes
  • Floppy disks
  • Capacitors, trans­formers or ballasts that are not clearly marked as saying “NO PCBs”
  • Smoke detectors
  • thermostats
  • medical waste
  • gas containers
  • anything leaking oil or acid
  • broken ink or toner cartridges
  • alkaline batteries
  • light bulbs & fluorescent tubes
  • broken CRT TVs or monitors

Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maries, Phelps, Pulaski, Washington

 

Residential items only! You must remain in your vehicle! Helpers will be there to assist

 

2023 Disposal Fees Apply to Each of the following:

Electronics:
  • TV CRT over 27″ = $25
  • TV Wood Console = $25
  • TV CRT under 26″ = $20
  • TV Flat Screen = $15
  • All Computer Monitors = $1O
  • Refrigerated appliances with freon = $10
Tires: (no rims please)
  • Passenger Tires = $2.00
  • Truck Tires = $7.50
  • Tractor Tires = $35
