July 17, 2014 -Rolla, Mo. – A new web video released today takes viewers inside the story of Brewer Science, a growing tech company located in rural Missouri. The company is changing the world through its creation of groundbreaking technology found in microelectronic devices everywhere.

Brewer Science founder and president Dr. Terry Brewer and a team of technology specialists give viewers a firsthand look at the company’s innovative research and discuss how this Missouri-based company, founded in 1981, became a worldwide technology leader and a homegrown success story. Brewer Science’s story “busts the myth” about tech companies needing a Silicon Valley address to be successful.

“How is it that a small company that started in Rolla, Missouri, has created scientific inventions used around the world?” asked Terry Brewer. “We’re a company that started from scratch. No venture capital. No big dollars were ever put into us. Yet we invented technology that is so good that after 33 years, it is still used by everybody around the world.”

Brewer Science, an advanced manufacturer of high-tech products used in smartphones, tablets, and LED televisions, recently opened a new manufacturing facility at Rolla National Airport. The video takes viewers inside the new facility as the company celebrates the building’s opening with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring federal, state, and local officials.
